Complaints: How to Tell Us What Went Wrong

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who reaches Southernlots Pest Control to feel treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, please tell us. This page shows how to raise a complaint and what to expect afterward. It is a general template, not legal advice.

What Can You Bring to Us?

You can contact us about:

  • Your experience when you called or contacted Southernlots Pest Control
  • The way your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
  • The conduct of a provider we connected you with

What If the Problem Is With a Provider?

Providers in our network are independent businesses. They answer for their own estimates, pricing, products, work and customer service. If you are unhappy with work done in your home, the usual first move is to raise it with the provider directly and keep a written record.

Please still tell us. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest, and a provider that repeatedly falls short of what we expect may be removed. Keep in mind that Southernlots Pest Control cannot settle contract disputes, refund money for a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.

If your worry is about how a pesticide was applied, you can also contact the agency that regulates pest control in Alabama.

How Do You File a Complaint?

Email contact@southernlots.living and include:

  • Your name and the easiest way to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you would like

What Happens After You Write?

We will confirm we received your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. Then we look into what happened, which may include reaching out to the provider. After that, we reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.

What If You Are Still Unhappy?

If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to look again. You may also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau.
